In the US, there are many children who might not've been raised going to church. They could've gone to Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, or "children's church" while adults went to regular service. (Some kids might not have paid a lot of attention in a regular services... but that's normal: since they were children!)
But as we saw in today's Scriptural message, II Tim. 3:14-15, St. Paul infers that St. Timothy was familiar with Scripture. How would someone, who wasn't feel about that? Perhaps a little disheartened.
However, they should be reminded of something the very lesson of Christ himself as in Matthew 18:3 - 5; Matt. 19:13,14; again Mark 9:37, Mark 10:13 - 15; also Luke 9:47, 48; Luke 18:16,17.
A person need not have "attended church" all their lives to be welcome into Christ's kingdom (both now and on the Last Day). Believing in Christ is much, much essential.
