Wow, Limm! I'll be praying for you with moving! That is SO much work! Missed you last night. We did have fun; even saw some "old faces" (Ril, Kins & Galth), along with some of our newer members. :D
Sorry to the 22s that couldn't get to some of the places... We tested the calls with a lvl 29 & thought that we had them all clear. We will get them for you soon. Not to mention that you are leveling quickly. ;)
Anyway, Thanks to all who came & we hope to get another one arranged before too long. :D OH & a special thanks to Ril & Braan for the excellent music! :D
ps. the next yr 2 quest that is easy for most levels is visiting the Inns (taverns) from the Bird & Baby to the Forsaken in. That being easy, we may do the next run for the year 3 quests.

I will try to log in if I can get in game on my laptop (big if since I haven't logged on there in a while so I'm sure it has an update to run, and it's a slooooooow old macbook). We're in the middle of moving and my pc is in a box right now. Hope everyone has a good time tonight!

Hoping to be there some tonight! No guarantees, though, as it's crunch time for school.

We intend for characters who are doing Year 3 Travels: Heights & Depths to be able to enter Caras Galadhon.
In a future patch, the rope that currently allows entrance into Caras Galadhon for Epic Book quests in Volume 3 Chapters 6 & 7 will also allow entrance if you have the Year 3 Travels: Heights & Depths quest.
For now, we have temporarily placed a second rope at 16.3 S x 67.4 W. If you have the quest Year 3 Travels: Heights & Depths, you will be able to use this rope to enter Caras Galadhon.

Second one has a location in Loth, entry to which is questlocked. I specifically did that one to make sure - it's in the middle of Caras Galadhon. As far as I can tell, that's going to be the stall point for everyone. There's at least one thing in them all that lower-levels can't do.

The first one looks like it needs a session play from East Wall's epic, so players that are not that high probably can't do it (unless they unlock it for everyone like the Dead Marsh horse). The third one looks like it requires not only higher levels but multiple expansions, and I don't think even I'll be able to complete it as I don't have RoI.
Second one is most plausible for low levels, as it only requires visiting places. Yes, getting them into Moria would be tough but apparently it is possible from the back side without doing the whole epic instance thing.

These are the Year Three quests. Nothing looks easily done, like One and Two - perhaps the first one is possible for lower-levels. I'd have to try it, but looks... sloggy - and possibly requires Loth access. The second two both require Moria, it seems.

So, more testing data - I actually got across Rohan, through the Fords of Isen - when I went through the Isen portal (over the fallen tree) I was attacked by the camping baddies on the Isen side, and killed while loading. If I had had an escort that went first, I'm pretty they could have dealt with those baddies, and allowed me to cross safely.
So, to recap - it's quite possible to ride from Belfalas to Dol Amroth, from Dol Amroth to the Cave of the Avorrim, from the Cave to the Paths of the Dead, and from the Paths to the Ford of Isen, and hence to Isengard area. I did it all unescorted, and the only thing that finished me was the loading time + high aggro at the Isen side of the Ford. I also was seeing that you can talk to Sam at Rivendell, and supposedly, the end of his quest puts you in Henneth Annun. I will try that later.

I'd like to get in on this one, but I may be too tired. I'm returning from a trip on Friday. I will try.

Great on both! :D
I really am excited about these. Yesterday went through the foes run & it wasn't too bad to get to places. I definitely want to station my one cappie out in Forochell... the other, wasn't sure, as the drake in MM is up a long area, but there is a mustering horn there really close to the goat trail (thanks Raz for helping us find it) & killing the giants will count for a deed for all that are there. I am thinking that my other cappie could hang out by the Trolls & call folks there for time savings. otherwise it's a long run from Riv or OG... and I can put any alt at the horn in MM. Not sure about the others... didn't take long to get to the Bog in the Shire from MD. I didn't get Dy finished with that one, so don't know if time would permit to start a second year one or not.
Also I noticed that at least part of one of the other yr 1 quests matched up. The giants needle & probably rememberances there, so would we want to just drop down & do that real quick while we are in the area?
I am totally planning on being there for this Fri. Hoping to get more game time as well, at least for chatting (as long as my cat doesn't sit on my laptop again... silly thing!).

In my opinion, let's just do a Foes run-through on Friday, and start Finta the week after, after a suitable introduction to the event on the forums. I added it to the calendar just now. We can then see whether they get the DM horse fixed, and plan a run for that set of quests once it is - the next week, or on a day we don't have a current event. Sound good? I *should* be around for evening events - going back out on the road tomorrow, but I can usually get online once I'm stopped. I can organize these, if you like. Then, if you make it, you can just join in My hunter is high enough to port people to Riv, and I'm sure we have several others who can do so as well.

Yes, very glad about that... that you only have to do 1 to unlock the next year's.
So, this Friday at 9, would it be best to do that one, or shall we try to do one of the others?
Also, since it goes till July (right?) we can make it part of our Finta Fri. or try to do a Sat run as well, depending. May is super busy for me & with the worse headaches I don't want to commit to things that I won't be able to do. I am so thankful for the leadership team being here & keeping things going!

We will see whether they have it fixed by then - if not, we can see about a run the next Friday, or etc Remember, anyone can still do the slayer quests - the third set of them - that's easily doable as even a small group, and will allow everyone to unlock the next "year" of quests.
